Mushroom Picking ToursLearn how to find wild mushrooms on a one-to-one basis with our English-speaking Polish forest mushroom experts here in the Lubusz Lake District of the beautiful west of Poland. Searching for and picking wild mushrooms is great fun. We offer the adventurous the chance to join our expert mushroom hunters on a private wild mushroom hunt in the depths of a Polish forest! Learn first hand about Central European wild mushrooms by personally collecting with us. We can take you mushroom hunting in our local forests for half and day long tours and week long courses involving picking, drying, and cooking freshly-picked wild mushrooms. Each of our wild mushroom picking tours are individually tailored to the tastes and requirements of each client and include only those individuals, couples, friends, and family groups who have booked together. Typically our mushroom hunts focus on finding and picking Borowik (Cep / Porcini / Boletus Edulis / Steinpilz / Penny Bun / King Bolete) and Pieprzniki (Kurki / Chanterelle) mushrooms, which grow in surprisingly large numbers in the forests of this part of Poland. We have limited accommodation (rooms and tent camping) available in our farmhouse; and if this is unavailable or isn't what you are looking for, we are happy to suggest and book comfortable accommodation, to suit every pocket, at bed and breakfasts, guesthouses, rustic cabins or hotels, close to our home base. We are located in an isolated location between the town of Sulęcin and Międzyrzecz in the province of Lubuskie in picturesque far west of Poland. Contact us for further mushrooming tour details or to book a place on one of our individual mushroom-picking tours, which take place between August and late October each year. Nearest airports: Berlin, Germany and/or Szczecin or Poznan, Poland. Airport pick up / collection service available.
